Queensland is not a cultural grey area. Thanks to the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane and the Asia-Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, which is normally an impressive exhibition and showcase for artists from a large chunk of geography to Australia’s north.
The 9th iteration (APT9) has opened at GOMA, but we’ll go later on. Meantime here’s a taste from the 2019 event, street art and surrounds. More artworks to come later, perhaps.
